Roles and responsibilitiesFactory Manager
The desired candidate should be able to manage day to day factory operations at Umargaon factory viz labor management, dispatches, coordination with accounts and stores, and reporting to Head office. Should be able to liaison with different government departments as well as with procurement /inventory.
Work deployment to the Workers. Coordinating with the workmen to produce the quality final product.
To increase company productivity. To compile with the government and Food standard organization norms. Responsible for total administration. Responsible for the maintenance of the factory
Maintain workman motivation and morale, ensuring all subordinates are trained. Monitor the reason and the progress of the quality of the process in the factory. Coordinating with various departments to run the factory. Monitor the achievement of the efficiency of the factory. Daily monitoring of safety issues and ensure the safe working condition. Grievance Management. Ensure consistent quality and productivity. Inventory management. Negotiating the labor grievances and other related issues.
Daily Monitoring of labor allotment, Manufacturing operations, Raw material Quality analysis, End Product Quality analysis, Tea Tasting. Responsible for training and appraisal of the staff and supervisors. Weekly monitoring of production efficiency and daily wastage generation trend in order to take immediate corrective action. Ensuring the safety of employees and machineries by implementation of safety standards .
Supporting organization profit making strategies by providing cost effective solutions.
Responsible for controlling the inventory of FG, RM, PM, WIP and other production and office consumables. Performing any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time. Management of daily and scheduled preventive maintenance in association with site engineering manager and team.
Management of Logistic at Plant.
Over All Factory Management and coordination of Production Activities of the factory.
Knowledge and experiences of people handling and plant legalities are must.
To follow-up Raw Material and FG Management, manufacturing, Quality Control and EHS Management System of tea blending & testing.
Compliance of statutory and legal requirements of factory
Accountable for overall Factory operations, Man Management & General Administration.
Responsible for RM planning, Engineering Inventory control, Legal & Regulatory Compliances.
Establishing & implementing processes & systems and sequencing them.
Experience in Tea tasting
Knowledge in Contract labor laws and Migrant labor Laws
Communication skills in both English and Regional language
Knowledge of Agricultural Science, commodities and products
Decision making ability
Problem Solving Skills
Man Management Skills
Proficiency in MS Office package
Have to plan production activities, production meetings, and machine maintaining schedules, worker schedules and budget maintenance schedules and quality of products
